Steven Higgins, Jr.

Troy- Steven Ellsworth Higgins Jr. passed away at his home in Troy on Saturday April 22, 2017 at the age of 41.

Steven is predeceased by his parents; Linda Hutchinson and Steven Ellsworth Higgins Sr. and his Granddaughter Jacqlyn L. Higgins.

Steven is lovingly remembered by his Girlfriend Jackie Galuski of Troy; Sisters Vicki Gorman (Rick) of Watervliet, Tina Hale (Christopher) of Latham, Brooke and Crystal Higgins of Washington; and step-brother Bjorn Tovsrud, also of Washington; sons Steven E. Higgins III and Landen Salvi; Granddaughter Madalyn Higgins and loving nieces and nephews Codi, Tyler, Katelynn, Jason, Lia and many wonderful family members and amazing friends.

Steven was born in California in 1975. He followed in his father’s footsteps and worked as a carpenter; he loved the art of building.

Steven was passionate about life and lived it to the fullest. He was a thrill seeker and the life of every party. He enjoyed riding his Harley and spending time with his friends and family. His smile was contagious and he lit up a room.  He was a strong, kind, compassionate man and loyal to all. He would give the shirt off his back, and he always kept it real.

The visitation will be held at McLoughlin & Mason, 8 109th Street, Troy NY 12180 on April 27 at 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm.

The funeral service will be held at McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home April 29, 2017 at 9:30 am with time for a short Eulogy with a procession to St. Agnes Cemetery to follow.
