Vincent Flanigan

Wynantskill – Vincent E. Flanigan, 68, of Wynantskill passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday December 1, 2016 after a long illness.

Vincent was born in Troy, the son of the late Harry and Alice (Barrows) Flanigan. He was the loving husband of Johanna Flanigan, and a lifelong resident of Wynantskill.

Vincent was a life time member of the North Greenbush Ambulance Association and former Rensselaer County EMS Coordinator

In addition to his wife, Johanna, he is survived by his four daughters, Kelly (Lee) Crosier of Averill Park, Kathleen Flanigan of Delmar, Kara (Charles) Giglia of Clarksville, and Kasey (James) Hannigan of Wynantskill. Vincent is also survived by his 9 grandchildren and 1 greatgrand child, along with his 3 brothers, Harry Jr. (Cathy) Flanigan of Gainesville, James (Marilyn) Flanigan of Wynantskill, and Edward (Barbara) Flanigan of Rotterdam.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 5, 2016 at St. Jude the Apostle Church, 43 Brookside Ave, Wynantskill where the funeral mass will be celebrated.

Burial will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery, N. Greenbush.

Calling hours will be held at the church from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the funeral mass.
