William F. Bourdeau "Bill", 73, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2015.
Born in Troy to the late Charles Bourdeau and Helen Sloan Bourdeau, he lived in the Capital District including Schenectady, Green Island and Pawtucket, RI., He was the husband to the late Barbara Kelaghan Bourdeau.
Bill graduated from Catholic Central High School, Mater Christi Seminary and finally graduated from St. Bonaventure University in 1964; he was ordained a priest in 1964. He was a catholic priest for 25 years also an educator and school administrator in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
Survivors include his brother, Ed 'Marty" Bourdeau, his sister in law Joanne Bourdeau, his brother Michael Bourdeau, his nieces and nephews, Ricky Comenote, Tami (Scott) Heinbach, Michelle Bourdeau, Jamie Bourdeau, Jon Bourdeau, Catherine Bourdeau, Tim Bourdeau, David Bourdeau and Patty Ann Bourdeau, his grand nephews, Shayn Bourdeau and Jordan Freeman, his grand nieces, Chelsea Heinbach and Courtney Heinbach, also survived by several cousins.
Bill was predeceased by his mother, father and his brothers, James Bourdeau and Garry Bourdeau.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home, corner of 109thStreet and Third Avenue, Lansingburgh.
Funeral rite outside of mass will be celebrated by Deacon Lukovits at 6:00 pm following calling hours on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at the funeral home.
Cremation was at the Gardner Earl Crematory in Oakwood Cemetery, Troy.
