William "Weaver" Craver

William "Weaver" Craver

William J. Craver “Weaver”, 83 passed away on Wednesday November 16, 2016 at his home after a long illness.

Weaver was born and raised in Troy, he was the son of William and Helen Seemaker Craver and he was the loving husband to Suzanne Reilly Craver.

He graduated from Catholic Central High School, class of 1951, he served in the United States Navy from 1953 to 1957. He worked for Western Electric in Albany as a telephone equipment installer, retiring in 1989.

William was a proud New York Giants fan, he loved the horses and going to casinos.

In addition to his wife Suzanne Craver, he is survived by his brother John Craver (Arlene) of Brunswick, his sister Marie Kachmar (the late Stephen) of Green Brook, NJ, he also survived by several nieces and nephews and his faithful K-9 companion Lulu.

Family and friends are invited and may call on Saturday November 19, 2016 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm with a prayer service at 4:00 pm at the  McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home, corner of 109th Street and Third Avenue, Lansingburgh.  Burial will be private at the Saratoga National Cemetery.
